BACH CONCERT - show of light puppets and unique marionettes for family audience to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 – 1750) - a German composer and musician. His music is revered for its intellectual depth, technical command, and artistic beauty. The performance consists of 7 puppet vignettes to the music of Bach for different musical instruments. The unique performances of the Nikolai Zykov Theater are gathering full halls all over the world with invariable success. Critics call these shows "goose bumps", and Nikolai Zykov "one of the most significant puppeteers in the world."
Nikolai Zykov is an artist of the world stage, who has delighted spectators in more than 50 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, has created more than 200 unique puppets, glove, rod and experimental puppets. Nikolai is the author, director, artist and performer of more than 30 puppet shows with many international awards for innovative creativity and outstanding performance, including awards of the UNIMA World Puppeteers Congresses.
Nikolai Zykov Theatre preserves and develops the art of puppetry based on the ancient traditions of different countries of the world by using innovative materials and technologies. Each puppet in the performance is not only a work of art, but also a new unique design. Technical requirements: one microphone on the cord and a non-stop mp3 (or Audio CD) playback, the preferred stage height is 1m 10cm, depth is 4m, the curtains must be black or dark. The team provides itself with lighting equipment, for connection 220 V sockets are required on the stage.
